Bulldog Natural Deodorant (Peppermint & Eucalyptus) – Review

Bulldog Natural Deodorant (Peppermint & Eucalyptus) has recently been my go-to. I’m not usually one for roll-on deodorants; I’m not completely against them and have used a variety in the past, but prefer sprays. However, I do like keeping open and seeing what’s out there, especially in the name of odour prevention! With this particular deodorant, I was sold at peppermint and eucalyptus.

BULLDOG NATURAL DEODORANT (PEPPERMINT & EUCALYPTUS) – REVIEW:

Bulldog’s natural deodorant is just that – natural. For those of a delicate disposition to stronger scents, you’ll be pleased to know the peppermint and spearmint contained within it aren’t too overpowering and neither is the eucalyptus (personally, I wouldn’t mind the smell ramped up a bit). Known for their antibacterial qualities and potency, for the average guy, ideally these key ingredients should be able to provide him with a fresh pair of armpits to see him through the day.

The eucalyptus-mint combo is balanced out with shea butter and coconut oil, which helps give the skin a smooth, moisturising layer. A few other key ingredients (all artificial fragrance-free) work to support sweat absorption. All in all, as a deodorant, it does the trick and smells crisp, clean and fresh.

There is also a simplicity to the smell that gives it more of a natural feel. I wouldn’t quite say it gives me a full 24 hours’ worth of protection like deodorants such as these claim to. It’s not perfect, but I don’t know any deodorant that is. Despite that, the mint-herbal scent is fresh, energising and just about does enough to keep the odours away – even during my musky, evening phase.

P.S. like all the products at Bulldog, it’s vegan-friendly!
